Following last week's mega giveaway I am pleased to report that I can brighten your Monday morning with an equally fabulous prize!
From the very fine people at Cookshop Plus in Bowral particularly one of their most brilliant staff and one of my dearest friends- Caroline, we have for you a fabulous box of goodies.
From Zero Teapots, Japan's leading teapot manufacturer we have the ultimate in solo tea-lover's gadgets. Forget those fugly bulky things you add to the top of your clunky mug. This single person teapot is stunning. If you are like me and you love your tea but nobody else at home does then this flawless porcelain teapot is ideal. Sometimes the Japanese do create some really wacky things but come on, this teapot is clever and cute. It has a removable stainless mesh strainer that covers the opening on the inside of the pot where the spout joins the body. Allowing your tea maximum contact with the water so the leaves are strained as you pour. Genius! Go on, stop buying your daggy teabags and go back to leaves! You know you want to. RRP $54.95
As well as your beautiful shiny red teapot you get this adorable red trimmed natural fibre oven mitt. This isn't just any old oven mitt. This is fit for a queen. THE Queen. Seriously. You know you've got yourself a fancypants oven mitt when the label is stamped with this, the Royal Warrant:
This is clearly the only oven mitt a true devotee of Stepford Dreams would be seen wearing. Plus, it matches your teapot. What more could you want? RRP $14.95It doesn't stop here. From the Barefoot Contessa's kitchen we have her famous Outrageous Brownie Mix. This isn't any old packet mix. If you are not familiar with Ina Garten you must google her, she is an amazing cook. Of her brownie recipe she says “I tested this recipe so many times that I am positive it is the best brownie recipe you will find.” These brownies are rich, dark, chewy and with just the subtlest hint of coffee…these brownies are incredible! And this box mix makes them easy to bake. Great to have on hand to make a fabulous dessert for guests or when you’re craving a sweet treat. RRP $17.95

ReplyDeleteI am in. I love the barefoot contessa. She's seems like such a lovely soul. x
This would be the perfect gift for my mom.
ReplyDeletehoney, do i need to state the obvious? It is still Sunday. But seeing as I plan to sleep most of tomorrow, I am more than happy for your comp to come a day early :)
ReplyDeleteWhat does my kitchen need from Cook Shop? Ummm, not to be greedy, but EVERYTHING! Including a kitchen! But I am eyeing off an Avanti Stockholm Basting Brush for the new kitchen
xoxo
wow! what an impressive giveaway!! thanks for the opportunity to win. I love the tea pot and the stuff on their website looks cool. very into the red toaster.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! I love that shop! Too scared to go into it these days with two lots of grabby baby hands shooting out of the stroller... gecko fingers grab all sort of things!
ReplyDeleteCount me in.
This is a shop I would spend every weekend in, if I lived near by and would be bad for my pocket. I'm looking for a red toaster, to match the splash back and now I know the on line shop, I hear danger credit card!
ReplyDeleteI'm in.
Ok, here's my list-
ReplyDelete1. Magimix food processor (in case I cannot convince Evan I need the Thermomix)
2. Dualit toaster- I am reliably told they are the best. Haven't picked the colour yet.
3. Global Ikasu knife set. My siste rhas these and I want them.
I could actually go on and on....
What an awesome shop!! I might have to take a daytrip to the Southern Highlands specially :)
ReplyDeleteOK I would definitely say that I NEED the Salter Kitchen Mechanical Scales. Not only do they look great, they would be put to EXCELLENT use in my kitchen!!
ooh oooh oooh Red teapot, just for me? With a spot of barefoot contessa brownies? Heaven!!
ReplyDeleteI love shops with cooking gadgets! Especialy online stores - homewares stores IRL are just too much temptation for little hands.
ReplyDeleteWith my current pineapple obsession I totally need the pineapple slicer - I never knew there was such a thing!
I love the red teapot - much better than our daggy one and those brownies sound delish.
What doesn't my kitchen need from Cook Shop Plus?
ReplyDeleteFavourite thing? The copper cookware. It's so hard to find in shops, and this is some really beautiful stuff.
Oh dear. That shop is going to be the death of me. Or my credit card. I've told the OH I'm FINALLY getting my Kitchenaid when we shift down your way!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great shop; I wish I could visit in person! Probably better for my budget that I can't lol. A couple of things I love include the Dualit 2 Slice Toaster Red and the Quattro Stagioni Preserving Jar (all sizes!). asthenight at gmail dot com
ReplyDeleteThat teapot looks lovely. My husband is starting to drink tea so we'll have to fight over who gets to use it, or just have two very small cups of tea ;o)
ReplyDeleteOk, so I love love the red teapot. What a great giveaway. Love a cuppa.
ReplyDeleteI neeeeed the gunmetal kitchenaid mixer to go with my blender i never use, a mortar & pestle to replace one i lost ( i know...how can you lose a mortar & pestle?) and I need a wooden cook book holder to display cookbooks and if the cookbook were right there displayed on the counter I may even use it. Love that T pot!
ReplyDeleteI am considering bribing MissTinker this week, what a gorgeous giveaway. There are so many beautiful things in that store, I really love all of the enamel pieces.
ReplyDeleteHi I just found you and have had a great time going through your archives. You are certainly generous in your giveaways! I wouldnt go past the red Kitchenaid mixer - very sexy!
ReplyDeleteHmmm where do I start? I have a love/hate relationship with my kitchen. I love to cook but I hate the way it turns out. So I don't spend a lot of money on cookware which is probably why everything turns out so bad in the first place...bit of a catch 22. Thanks for turning me onto the website though, I loved it. Everything there is totally my style
ReplyDeleteI am seriously lusting after the John Boos chopping board, love, love, love the idea of the knife storage inside the board! So many gorgeous things though... I'd need some more storage space first!
ReplyDeleteOk well if I had free rein and could spend till my heart was content my top three would be:
ReplyDelete1. The Scanpan Impact Saucepan Set
2. The Scanpan Classic Roaster (to replace the cheap and nasty thing I received as a Christmas gift!)
3. The Kitchenaid blender in red to match Bessie (my empire red Kitchenaid mixer).
That's my kind of store. I could easily lose myself in their for a day and come out with a second mortgage!
PS. I love the tea pot. Tea and red, what more could a girl ask for?
OMG, this looks so exciting! I absolutely love the red teapot!!
ReplyDeleteOoh! What a lovely shop and such a great giveaway! I've drooling over the red 28 cm Le Chasseur Round French Oven pot and the Le Chasseur Square Grill! Perhaps I'll cook more if I have them!
ReplyDeleteLove it! What? The store, the giveaway, and I think I could take about one of everything there!
ReplyDeleteI've been looking for a scale to weigh our garden output. Salter Kitchen Scale Mechanical High Dial Chrome is probably one of the coolest one's I've ever seen.
I will have one of everything!!! HA.
ReplyDeleteI read the blurb about the tea pot and (out loud, because I'm a bit strange that way) I said "yes, I like tea", "no, no one else does", and "I DO want to go back to tea leaves!!!" Ooooh, boy.....
I also like the Smart Cafe thermal mugs. My coffee travel mugs are crap these days. And all of the vases are beautiful too! Wow, a girl could really go wild @ that store, couldn't she????
That lemon citrus juicer is fantastic. Who has one of those? What a great give away!
ReplyDeleteStrangely enough, I love the Krosno cake display. So pretty, Now, if I could only bake a decent cake, I'd be sorted.
ReplyDeleteI'd be happy with the Countessa's Brownies!
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I are huge fans of anything Japanese! This would be perfect in our home! I loved all the teapots on their website, plus the glass storage jars for the kitchen. I am always looking for aesthetically pleasing storage!
ReplyDeleteOoh-la-la! Wouldn't you just love the Kitchenaid Artisan Espresso Machine? I would! :) I could go hog wild in this store--so many beautiful appliances and accessories. Love it! Fingers crossed!!!
ReplyDeleteWow, what a great shop. I think I would definitely be happy with some of their ceramic bakeware and also a salt and pepper mill. I have wanted a nice one forever.
ReplyDeleteBe still my heart. The red mill I've been looking for - Peugeot Paris Pepper Mill, and of course it is out of stock.
ReplyDeleteI don't suppose "one of everything" is a good answer, is it? I've been wanting to try a santoku knife, like the Scanpan Classic Forged 18cm Santoku.
ReplyDeleteI would love to have the butterfly cookie cutter. I love cookies and that is just too cute!

The hubby & I were at Cookplus just last weekend, luckily for my renovation budget we managed to get out of there for under $100 (purchased a cast iron skillet). I really need the La Chassur french oven (in red of course!) - had to sell all my cookware prior to moving to AU and regret it every time I cook.
ReplyDeleteWow, I need Cole & Mason Steeler
ReplyDeleteKawaiiNeko2008 at aol dot com
That teapot sounds like it is made just for me. I am the only one in m family that drinks tea as well. Love love love a nice fresh pot of tea but seems pointless to make it especially when I drink 50 million cups of tea.
ReplyDeleteI also love the dinosaur cake tin. I am sure one day I will have to make Oliver a dinosaur birthday cake and that would come just in handy.
My kitchen really needs the Salter Kitchen Scale Mechanical High Dial Chrome ($110, Code: 4821). It looks awesome!

What a great competition!! I am crossing everything that I win. What a fantastic kitchen supplies store. There is so much I would love to buy, in particular some of the gorgeous cookie cutters.
ReplyDeleteGosho this shop is a real treasure chest of goodies! I would LOVE a pressure cooker (Code 3146). A friend of mine has one and I have always been envious of the delicious and healthy food it produces. To be honest I am sure I would fall madly in love with just about everything from this shop....
ReplyDeleteLove the website.
ReplyDeleteAnd I loooove the daisy chain cake tin!
Ohh...I NEED new salt and pepper grinders. I can never find any that last more than a year or two? And you know what, I don't have an oven mit, I just use a tea towel. Think its time to move on and up in the kitchen world!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the red teapot!
ReplyDeletePina colada mix??? Okay i that too sad? Okay then, well, i seriously adore those funky red toasters!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI NEED the microplane 4 sided box grater- have been hinting at husband for months but he still has no clue!
ReplyDeleteMastrad Silicone Spoons
ReplyDeleteI have bought them in every colour and in person from the one and only CazZ.
Im in need of one of their Dolly Varden tins Im desperate to master the dolly cake before my lil girl turns 3
ReplyDeletegreat giveaway Caroline has great taste choosing such lovely items :)
It has to be the KitchenAid mixer doesn't it? In almond-cream to be exact. I will definitely pop in to this store next time I am in Bowral ;)
ReplyDeleteEveryone in my house drinks coffee but we don't have a coffee grinder anymore because out last one broke :( It'd be great to have the
ReplyDeleteCuisinart Grind Central Blade Coffee Grinder. It's so shiny! haha
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Avanti Stockholm Glass Honey Pot.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic website, what don't I need... But if I can only select one, it would have to be the KitchenAid Stand Mixer in cream.
ReplyDeleteOoh! So many wonderful things! My kitchen needs without a doubt the Infinite Circulon Covered Chef's Pan. It is so wide and deep and it has a great long handle for shaking or tossing without splattering my pretty apron :)
ReplyDeleteMmm in, and I'm in serious need of a Le Chasseur Square Grill in sky blue, and some Furi cooks knives.
ReplyDeleteHaving checked out their store I feel that a bit of everything would do for me. However I can as well settle for http://cookshoppl.cart.net.au/details/2036177.html - This lovely Juicer to start with
ReplyDeleteWow, this place is heavenly... I could do with a fancy four toast toaster!
ReplyDeleteOh I love the tea pot!! Just what I need for lonely nights in, freshly brewed tea for one!!
ReplyDeleteMy lovely mum would love this, our kitchen does dream of colour and modernity!
ReplyDeleteWow-what an amazing prize. What could my kitchen do with? I have been looking for a dog bone cookie cutter so I think I would get that to make biscuits for my two dogs. Oh, and to not leave hubby out, I would buy I a knife block for him-a furi or global set I think!I think we would all be happy then.
ReplyDeleteBettina
That teapot is awesome! What a great idea! I've been looking for a thermal scan thermometer that Alton Brown uses for his episodes. Boy they're pricey... maybe I'll just stick with guessing when the pan is ready for the egg...
ReplyDeleteOhhh I lurrrrve real tea leaves, much better than dunking a tea bag!
ReplyDeleteI was just telling hubby I need a citrus juicer - now I could get a cheap, manual one, but where would the fun be in that!! That's why I'm lusting after the Orange X Juicer in red! Sure it's pricer than the manual sort. But it's red! And it looks like it came from outer space!! Awesome!
Oh no...this is dangerous! Kinda like when I found the Essential Ingredient...but better cos it comes with internet shopping.
ReplyDeleteIn my fantasy land, I would have the Mauviel Copper Saucepan 1.2 Litre 14cm Iron Handle, but in reality, I am eyeing off the Anolon Suregrip 22cm Square Springform.
I need several hours to browse... then I need the Barefoot Contessa baking mixes (Love her!)and just about all of those baking trays, and I'm sure a hundred other things that I'll find with time to browse. Oh, and apparently, I need to bribe Tinker so that I win this competition! Will bribery with cute handmade clothing work?
ReplyDeleteI love the Fox Run Cookie Cutter Set Mini Cake Decorator. This is adorable!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic giveaway!
Thanks a lot.
Oh I am lusting after a Kitchen Aid mixer in red.. Great giveaway..
ReplyDeletewow! look at all the comments! i personally love the Avanti Mondo Tea Pot. while I am usually the only one at home that drinks tea (as I am the only one that ever seems to be home!) I am lusting after a large one for when I have guests. Cant wait to pop into the store next time I am in Bowral
ReplyDeleteThank you for all the great comments. Cookshop Plus has just started a blog. Hope you will all follow us as eagerly as you do the lovely Carolyn!

ReplyDeleteWhat a super fantastic giveaway!
I love everything! Especially the cutting boards, for some reason. And the mortar and pestles - so wonderful!
