What's for Dinner Wednesday? Curry!

Chicken curry and a confession.

I am a thief. I stole this recipe from Australian Good Taste magazine but that isn't even the half of it. I stole the magazine from the waiting room at my doctor's office. Horrified? I couldn't leave it behind I had to have it. I'm sorry universe.

So you know what I did? I swapped it for my current Vogue magazine. I had it in my bag ready to read while I was waiting. I made the ultimate sacrifice. I exchanged style for sustenance. It says a lot about who I am these days doesn't it? Ok so it says I'm a thief but it also says that when you become a mum your priorities totally shift. Amen to that. Bye Anna Wintour, hello Donna Hay.

  1. You are hilarious, Carolyn! I try not to reach out for magazines with recipes. I have to fight with myself not to stash it away in my bag! Many times, I would find myself trying desperately to by-heart the recipe before my turn came.

But you know what? I have too! But I did not have a magazine to exchange it with. But I consoled myself saying that it was so old an edition and that nobody would miss it. :D

  2. Well you've appealed to my senses, yum! And Donna Hay is so much more useful than Anna Wintour ;)

  3. My boyfriend is THRILLED that I now have a chicken curry recipe. We both thank you for EXCHANGING those magazines! Good work!

  4. Hmm I can't see the ingredient list. Just me?

  5. LOL Caroline the karma police are going to come after you now !!!!! You make the most amazing dinners mine seem so boring compared to what you post !!!!!!

  6. oh carolyn, how could you!!! haha

  7. Margie you are right, I can't see the ingredient list now. Where has it gone?! I'll try to fix it now.

  8. Ok I think I fixed it, let me know if it is still buggered on your screen.

  9. Just rechecked, can see it now. Thanks Carolyn.

  10. That's almost the exact recipe I use for Thai Chicken Curry (my absolute favourite "comfort" dish on a cold day) but I use green curry paste instead of yellow. You should try that too - yummy!

And I totally would have swapped the mags for that recipe if I didn't know it by heart already. :)

  11. I hope they have wifi at the prison, else we'll miss your posts!
