Tinker's Threads - Choc & Mauve

Well the little Tinker sure has her favourites. When it comes to accessories she really loves her owl hairclip and her brown knitted vest. At least they go well together I suppose, but she has so much choice, why the repetition?! With me the reason I keep wearing the same things over and over again can be blamed entirely on the fact that I'm still sporting about 8 kilos of baby-weight that I just can't shake & I refuse to go shopping in my inflated size. My old clothes don't fit so I am stuck with a rather limited wardrobe. Stubborn? Stingy? A bit of both I think. Either way I need to snap out of it and lose the spare tyre before her 2nd birthday or I'll completely lose my mind. Or my fashion mojo.

Red, mauve and brown all working well. Who'd have thunk it? That said, the Tinker looks cute in any combination of colours. Well, that's what I think anyway. Stay tuned for more trend tips from the Tinker. xx

  2. You're telling me that she picked out these clothes herself?! You've got a little fashionista on your hands!

  3. I too am fighting the post-baby body and a limited wardrobe b/c I refuse to buy anymore FAT clothes and I am about 3 sizes away from my old clothes. I don't understand my refusal to even care about it at this point but she's going to be one in a month, so I need to get it together. No more excuses!

  5. McVal she picked the top and the clip. I give her a few choices and she decides in the end but I'm a bit of a cow I won't let her out looking like a freak so she can't choose from her whole wardrobe!

  6. I can relate to this. oliver picks some of his clothes everyday as well and usually picks the same thing everytime.
At the moment, I am spring cleaning and going through out cupboards getting them ready to pack away what does not fit him anymore. they are sitting in a pile on our bedroom floor and every time he goes in there, he insists on wearing something he sees there. how many times do i have to tell him they don't fit. the thing is, we have temper tantrums if he can't wear them so most often, i will just let him wear them and then people will wonder why he is wearing clothes that don't fit him anymore but i don't care. i want to avoid the tantrums where possible. i have to get something to pack them away in so we can avoid this in the future.
