Dear little baby Beau who I posted about yesterday has now passed away. Please spare a thought for his family and if you are the praying type please pray for the family.

- I'm Carolyn. Once a lawyer now a housewife. Yes I married a house, he is pretty cute. We have a baby girl and two little bearded dogs and we live in Sydney, Australia. Before, I spent my days carrying on in the courtroom and now I neatly fold towels and quickly change nappies. I line my herbs up in alphabetical order and I take 5 weeks to take the Christmas tree down. I am shamefully mad about shopping and I think of myself as quite the expert when it comes to shopping for children. I try to be crafty and impose my hideous sewing on friends as gifts from the heart. I like baking, I have been known to throw a piping bag out the window. Oh my goodness, I'd never heard of this dear little boy until a minute ago (and your site a minute before that) and I'm now in tears. I'm so sorry to hear this, very tragic. I'm now off to give my two girls the biggest hug ever. xx

ReplyDeleteIt seems so wrong when children die. Their precious lives swallowed before time. Their twinkling eyes no longer lighting our lives. We all feel the sadness they leave behind and hope their parents find strength to survive.

I am so sad to hear about Beau.
ReplyDeleteSMA is one of the top genetic killers of children and I had never heard of it until I met a child with it through the nonprofit we run. As a bereaved parent myself (my child passed away from Cockayne syndrome)I know the journey of pain Beau's family is on. Praying they will feel God's comfort enveloping them.
