Hats, coats, bags

I'm not sure if this exists or not, but I have this image in my mind of a really funky looking hat stand, or a coat stand or whatever you call them.

I want one to hang my handbags on but I DON'T want it to look like this at all:

Has anyone seen anything like a modern take on a hat stand?

  1. Try Ikea, Freedom furniture, an independent furniture store in our town has very modern ones, try one locally to you.

  2. Tried Ikea and Freedom with no luck and we went to Crows Nest today where there is a row of furniture stores but non luck there either. Maybe it doesn't exist!

See with all the handbags you won't see a great deal of the stand so maybe this one might work since it has quite a lot of hooks...

  6. It probably wouldn't work for bags, but I LOVE the Zanotta Sciangai Coat Rack..

You can buy it at Space in Sydney.

  8. OOOh Vanessa I like the white one but I wonder how many bags I'd get on since the branches are close together? I may need to go and see it in person. Jenny I love Zanotta, wow it is lovely but you are right. No good for bags.

  10. Beano wow that is fabulous, you are so talented! Bending the wood must have been very tricky, it looks amazing.

Vanessa I'm going to call up and see how much that tree one costs, if it isn't too pricey I might start saving up for it. Thank you again for the link, I will ring them today!
