Sick Note

I feel that I should show you all my sick note:

I spent my "early night" in bed with my mop bucket last night. So I'm going to be out of action a day or two. Cross your fingers the Tinker doesn't get it because the only thing worse than a sick mummy with a baby is a sick mummy looking after a sick baby.

On the plus side, my husband has learnt how to switch on the stove. Miracles do happen people!

  1. So sorry you are unwell. Most husbands don't make the best nurses, but the good ones try. Small steps...turning on the stove is a big thing! Hoping baby stays well!

You are the Mother of Tinker and my sweet girl, no time for that nonsense. I await.... Moms don't get sick, no time, I know.

  9. Hope you are feeling better soon. That is the one advantage of my husband actually being a nurse

  10. Feel better soon. Necessity is the mother of husbands learning how to cook. DH learned how when I was too nauseated to want to eat anything for the first trimester of my pregnancy. I think I went in the kitchen twice in an entire month and a half and yet somehow he did manage to feed himself!

  11. I hope you feel better soon! I also hope your "tinker" doesn't get sick.

Have you heard of the "swine flu"? Apparently, it's a new flu from Mexico. Approximately, 40 cases in the U.S. Not to alarm you...unless you've touched a pig recently. In which case, go to the hospital. Hopefully, this isn't your case. But I thought you might want to know.

Oh, I hate to be the bearer of bad news.

I'll pray for your speedy recovery! I'm sure you'll be okay.

  17. I hope you feel better...and I beg to differ, the only thing that's worse than a sick mommy taking care of a sick baby is a sick mommy caring for a sick husband a.k.a HUGE baby :)
