This is just a quick post, I have Massaman curry cooking and little Tinker is not going to amuse herself for long at my feet while I sit here. She has a box of pegs, they only last so long.
I was wondering what people are interested in seeing on my funny little blog. It's really hard to know what people are really interested in without actually asking so here I am, hoping for some feedback from YOU.
I often wonder whether I'll post this or that and then I think of but there are so many other blogs out there that do that and probably do a better job of it so I won't... Then again, there are about a million and one blogs for every possible subject so it isn't like we are talking about the discovery of penicillin or anything equally groundbreaking!
Many of you know I am always buying wacky things for my two Griffon Bruxellois dogs and I'm constantly buying gorgeous things for Tinker but with so many lovely shopping blogs out there I often hesitate about posting lest I bore you all or double up on something you have already read fifty times that day like news commentary or Australia-specific things.
So please let me know here or via email if you prefer, all feedback very very welcome.

You know my answer: I want to see your shopping!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd hear about your renovations. You often mention little tibbits in your comments on my renos, but never show your hard work. I love your house and would love to see what you have done/are doing to it
xoxo
I've been reading your blog for only a few weeks now. I am enjoying your writing.
ReplyDeleteI especially liked the post, NOt Who You Think I Am
I'd say, write more of the same :)

I love hearing about any aspect of your life with Tinker. As a stay-at-home mom myself, I like hearing that I'm not the only one dealing with a toddler screaming in the grocery store or fears of where I'll send my child to preschool. I also have an affinity for shopping, too, so yes, show me the beautiful things you get your precious little girl!
ReplyDeleteYour life experiences. Whatever they may be that day. That is what differentiates your blog from others.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Miss Behavin.
ReplyDeleteI will tell you that what drew me to your blog was your about me section.
yep, agreed! i like the daily anecdotes you post...
ReplyDeletethey are entertaining and something i can relate to...
love the personal stuff.
and that about me section: priceless!
I love the Not Who You Think I Am Post. Any post that can make me laugh, I'll read. Comedy will keep me coming.
ReplyDeletePhotos of Tinker like you used to post on FB!!
ReplyDeleteI would also like to hear about your adventures in finding a preschool!!
ReplyDeleteIt was your graphic - then your post headings -followed by my curiosity and appreciation for your writing as I was ultimately learning your story.
ReplyDeleteYou have talent and I hope you will keep on writing.
Wow thank you all for replying and thank you also to everyone who sent emails. My inbox feels loved. I am definitely going to share some shopping trips with you and April I'll track down some reno stuff. Problem is we rarely take before shots only the afters. Mel I prefer to keep my Tinker off the internet. I feel bad for her you know, it's not like I can ask her permision to use her cuteness for my benefit. It seems wrong and I don't want to feel guilty one day!
ReplyDeleteI have been reading your blog for a few weeks now and I love it. Please keep posting.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your "Talent" and "How to dress your vagina to school" type of posts. You have a way with words that trigger my funny bones and see those images in my mind. Oh, and one more thing, posts regarding cleanliness, alphabetizing your herbs, or whatever, in the name of "being organized" are very much appreciated.
ReplyDeleteI would enjoy reading:
ReplyDeleteShopping,
Thoughts,
Tinker,
Um... other stuff...
Really just keeping it different is what I like most. I get bored when blogs are always the same so keep doing what you're doing!
You blog is about everyday stuff that you do. But you write it so well. I really look forward to reading your posts. And you have these give-aways and stuff that are so unique. I also like reading about your thoughts on issues. Like the burkha issue for example. And of course pictures of Tinker and the goings-on in her life.
